One reading leads elsewhere
A book can reopen a question about memory; a walk can change how a city looks. Listening can bring back a distant voice. Campioni e varianti follows these passages between philosophy, literature, music and everyday life.
This is a place for Corrado Fizzarotti’s reading and writing. Its paths cross our relationships with other living beings, the forms of memory, the things we use and the stories through which we find our bearings. You can begin with a subject, an author or a curiosity; the next connection may lead somewhere else.
The opening pages and their sources
The first selection brings together editorial notes accompanying previously published writing. Each note introduces a reading path and preserves a link to the original article, with its author, title, publication and date. The full texts remain with their original publishers. English versions of the notes provide a way into the subjects; the linked original articles are in Italian.
Use the archive to follow subjects and find the sources. There is also a contact page for suggesting a text or starting a conversation.
